So when was this tech removed...
I remember way back when I first played WZ, there were more techs for machineguns.
In addition to the 3 you get (not including the RoF upgrades), there were 3 levels of "Tungsten Tipped" MG upgrades, followed by 3 levels of "Depelted Uranium" MG upgrades.
Anyone remember when/why they were removed?

I first played the game unpatched (1.00), those upgrades were the only thing that allowed me to survive the New Paradigm on my first ever playthrough ;p

i'm pretty sure i remember them being there as well, but weren't they later tech (mid-to-end of the alpha campaign)?

couldn't tell ya. all I remember was that, in my first playtrhough, I went crazy-heavy on the machinegun defensive structures during the "stop the Paradigm's all-out assault" stage, and they worked. Barely, but worked. These are MG damage upgrades there are in WZ:
Hardened MG Bullets and APDSB MG Bullets Mk1/Mk2/Mk3 are available in both mp and sp. Tungsten-Tipped and Depleted Uranium upgrades seem to exist in sp only, I don't know if those are actually used though.

i remember all of those being in the campaign somewhere in 1.0, with hardened bullets appearing in the first mission, and apdsb appearing in the early/mid part of campaign one. i think tungsten-tipped bullets may have appeared near the end of campaign one, but i can't remember if depleted uranium bullets were found in alpha or beta campaigns.Troman wrote: These are MG damage upgrades there are in WZ:
