Clearing design name
Finding that autorepeat wouldn't work in the 2.0.3 version (and possibly later) has prompted me to suggest you add a "clear" button for the design name - just in case one feels like renaming the vehicle design without wearing out the backspace key.

Fixing autorepeat seems like a much easier job...

Assuming it's on the list already (rather hard to miss if one plays the game). The clear button would be independent of window's autorepeat setting and instantly wipe clean the name. Cut&Paste locally added to design would be nice as an alternative.
