Warzone 2.2.2 skirmish borked

In 2.2.1, I click on a map and there will be a greyscale representation at the background.

In 2.2.2, I click on a map and it crashes before the greyscale representation appears.

How do I fix that? I have WinXP SP3, and an Acer Aspire 3050. 1.8GHz, 1GB of RAM, ATI Radeon and fast enough to run 2.2.1.

That happens to me sometimes when i try to open a map that has been converted with map converter.

Are you using any specific map that is not included in WZ?
If it is,upload it so others can test it.

Can you find any crash dump report files?

I instaled 2.2.2 without uninstalling 2.2.1, and overwrote also. I have no problems with what you mentioned.
Then again, you may have a different setup of some sorts.

i'am,using,Mac.I.play.any.map.the.custom.and.the.ones.I.have.download,from.this.forum(.wd).every,thing.work.perfect. :gonk: :( just,for,7minutes.but It crashes.not,justwz.I,mean,the,system.i,have,to,restart.manually.

That's definitely the ATI openGL driver meaning a Card driver conflict....
now how about the "STDERR.txt" file located in the \2100\ directory?
Did it mention anything about a problem?

Regarding Topo's problem, the only time I've ever heard of something loading successfully but freezing up the entire system after specific period of time, is when there's a CPU or Cache module Overheating. There's no way an invalid AI script could make the entire O.S. crap out unless it was already unstable b/c of some other hardware/software issue.

Warzone can not crash the OS. The problem is with your system (heat / corruptions / bad RAM) or drivers that cause this.
This is a waste of space. Something important should be here.

reinstall newer or older drivers for your graphicscard for example
check temperature of your cpu and gpu
don't know any mac-programs for doing this, sorry

yesterday I download warzone2100-2.2-beta1-nofmv.dmg.it's does not accept new maps.but it's OK.I means perfect.it's have 2 new maps. xD xD
it's the version with some kind of problem. nothing about graphicscard,temperature, cpu,gpu,corruptions,ram,etc,etc.
warzone2100-2.2-beta1-nofmv.dmg it's almost the same with version 2.2.3.nice,good design,etc.and works.
