Is it a known issue that units do not react on commands in multiplayer after a certain time (lets say 15-30 minutes)
I often have some groups of trucks i use to build buildings and that works in the beginning of a multiplayer game without problems (ok, a few days ago i even had this problem on start up of a multiplayer game) but if i select a building position in range of a truck it also works later, BUT if i want a truck to build something at a position where it first has to drive to to start building, it doenst even move.
Do you know what i mean?!
PS: I have this problem with 2.2.2 and had it with 2.2.1 (win xp, 1,7 GHz, 1 GBRam, 128VRAM ATI); in these weeks i use an internet stick to connect to the internet; perhaps the connection speed is too low to send/receive the build commands to the server?

Re: Units dont react on my commands!
same happens to me in 8 player skrimish games.
i believe it's because CPU overloads.

What versions are you seeing this problem in?
Note that you can see whether it is a CPU overload problem easily - if the units wait some time then move as they should, then path finding is simply overburdened. If they never move, it is something else, most likely a bug.
It is important for us to know which it is, so that we can fix the right issues...

It has nothing to do with path finding. This bug also appears if you click a truck and tell him he should build a structure only 2 tiles away. The truck just ignores the command.
An annoying workaround: Select the truck and tell him to move extremely close to building position (max. one tile away) then click to build structure.
That happened in 2.2.1 as well in 2.2.2 (only versions i played with opensource wz)
As already said, it happens in some big matches (many players) as well in other games after a while. Last time (yesterday) it happened after a certain player left the game.
My idea: The host leaves game -> bug starts. Would that be possible?

To me that problem is present in all versions I ever played in.Per wrote:What versions are you seeing this problem in?

My units don't move even if i wait,but i found a solution.
I go to pause menu, wait for 10-20 secs and when i return to game units start moving.

This happened in 2.2.1 anytime the host of a multiplayer game would lose/leave. All factories stop producing, but would continue to take your power to pay for new tanks, and all trucks would behave in this manner. I've been hosting a lot of 1v1 games since 2.2.2 was released and don't know if this still happens.smallfly wrote:My idea: The host leaves game -> bug starts. Would that be possible?
