Explanation please?



Just started a new game, I played with orange color before I started the new game, but it was skirmish...

Oh well, New Paradigm vs. New Paradigm xD

Very simple: there is no (re)initialization done for various global variables and structures before a game is loaded/started, this is very error-prone and is producing various glitches and bugs, some are visible like yours some are not and are very hard to track
Personally I just quit and re-launch the game every new game or save/load - just in case

Colors. The Project presumably isn't affiliated with the New Paradigm.

I am well aware of how old this discussion is, but I was interested in what I saw in the screenshot and was wondering if there was any way to manually change your team colour to orange, grey, or black for the campaign mode. By default, these three team colours are disabled for campaign mode.

Isn't there an option on Options -> Game Options to change the colour?

There is, it has red, green, blue and teal. I take it you can't choose orange, grey and black because they're reserved for New Paradigm, The Collective and Nexus respectively.

Having more colors (or better yet, a continuous palette to choose from) is something I'd really like to see. Oh well, devs got bigger things to do.

From the above screenshot, it appears that through some glitch or another, it seems entirely possible to use a team colour that is otherwise reserved for the computer. I was wondering if anyone knew the specific method to make this happen deliberately, or if any exploit exists to force team colours in campaign mode.

Basically, is there any reliable way to use orange, grey, or black teams in campaign mode?
