Stuck on Nexus level

Hi there,

Haven't played this game in ages up until a few days back, and I was on the level where you have 1hr 30 mins against the Nexus after they've just taken over a base in gamma. (where you have 30mins to go and assist allies, then you get there and their tanks, etc, get turned into nexus ones.) So I just started playing again, and have been trying to do this level for days thinking you just had to wipe the base out, but I just managed to do it and nothing happened, so I'm stuck wondering what to do.

So can anyone give me a clue as to what this level requires you to do? Because after spending so long doing this and finally taking the base out to see I still hadn't completed the level I'm lost. There's 2 other Nexus bases nearby, but surely you're not expected to take those out aswell, so no clue...

Finally thought I'd finished the level too, and this is the first time I've had to ask for help, gutted..

Also, there were two bits of wall left, but surely I wasn't supposed to take those out aswell. Like in other missions I assumed they'd just blow up with the last building/gun turret you take out.

edit : just checked a guide and I guess you do have to take out the other two bases? I've just been sending Lancers and Bombards up the map from the bottom, guess I should start using VTOL's, etc, and getting a lot better at playing!

If you are on the Gamma stages, you can probably stop witht he Bombards, and go with Howizters now. The trick is to leave Howitzers in your side of the map (insde your base), and then "spot" the enemy for your howitzers to shell from a distance. How you choose to "spot" is your choice. That should remove both nexus bases with ease.

Please note: the instant you hit any part of the western most nexus base, Ex-Gamma will turn on you, so be ready.

Haha, didn't know you could do that either with the howitzers. Also, hey again! I thought this was the first time I'd asked for help and before I was posting about bugs, but after checking back from last year I remember I was also asking for help then, gahh. Thanks for helping me back then and now anyway. I'll probably have a read through those tips you posted in the end of an old thread I made anyway and will hopefully be ok.

I think I'd normally be sick of a game like this by now but it's just so addictive. xD

on that level I had apparently not destroyed the nexus transport. and I sent well over 70 units and it took the transport down to no health, but it still wouldnt explode I eventually had to use the get off my land code but it was very strange.
