Um, I can understand a problem with tower rush, but why would we disable MG rushing? That's like disabling "paper" in "rock, paper, scissors" - it's pretty unbalanced.

I didn't mean this.I mean easy way to sop it.For exemple, special armor upgrade for buildings that will make basic machingun damage very low.And only upgraded weapon will cause serios damage, but player will have time to take control over teritoy till oponent will get serios weapon or machingun upgrade. This must be fast early but expensive armor upgrade, for example costing 400...

By the second minute, if the map is small enough for your opponent to reach you by then, you should have your own machinegun towers up, so enemy trucks can't get that close to build their own.devastator wrote:On the 2nd minute my enter is blocked by machingun towers and other with machingun tanks. What can hardcrete do?

Okay, then. You make MG tanks and destroy trucks that come near you.devastator wrote:I told this at 1st message, you know. The only way to stop rush-use the same method. This makes game uninteresting.

Re: It's time to disable rush
There's really nothing that can be done about rush, because rush simply means taking the advantage form the start. It's one of the best opening strategies, for these reasons.
He who has more oil wells gets more units and better tech, so if you claim more oil wells initially, you will slowly gain an advantage. Once you have greater numbers of better units, you can destroy some of your opponent's defenses and capture even more oil. Turlting rarely works unless there is very litlle oil near the center. Sitting back (not rushing) just hands the majority of oil to the enemy and often hands him the game as well. So even if you completely eliminated MG tower, people would just wait for MG Bunker or cannons. The opening will always be about more oil, which is why you can't eliminate rush. :-S

Yeah, taking advatnage at game start. This can be reflected, but this makes oponent giving yo conditions to survive. This is really annoying.

Re: It's time to disable rush
Why not start with bases? This makes any kind of real rush (i.e. building no defenses, doing no research, just attack from the first second) suicidal. Of course it still makes sense to fetch control of outlying oil wells early, but you can't really attack the enemy base without doing some research and building some defenses.

Defending base but not oils is slow death.
