Yeah, it comes from Linux.

If you want to modify the game folder, you need the administrator pass.
So maps and savefiles are almost always saved in your personal folder.

Searching the wiki is near impossible. For something that's really frequently asked, the FAQ works. For anything else, I'd prefer if it could be asked here so I can put it on the Guide.
