Blindsidded !!! But almost back.

First of all. Long time no see everyone. It has been over 5 years now sence I have had anything to do with WZ. If there is anybody out there that still remembers JedediahKnight from the old Pumpkin 2 forums that is. My world kind of blew up on me 5 years ago and I still have not fully recovered yet. This user name is a temp. I dont have a computer yet or a proper E-mail account and dont get to use a computer but 1 or 2 dayes a month now. But I wanted to get started asking some questions now.

First off, how well does WZ run with what version of windows?
Can I (and where do I go to) download both disks of the game should I want to burn the disks (with movies) ?
I have found a lot of mods and maps. Was'nt there a program out there that setup maps and mods in the game for you ? Can I still get it and where ?
And Most of all, What have I missed out on in the last 5 years and what do I need to know?

1) warzone works with all versions of windows / linux / mac. ( at least this is what the threads are saying.)

2)no more disks. all you need is to download from the resources here. install is pretty damn quick.

3) most of the old maps are here already... and those not here , it may be possible to convert em - depends on the map and if it needs other resources. forget the old mods - we have new ones to play with now and they seem to be pretty damn good.

4) well 5 years is a long time - your best bet is to read these forums for now and when you can email me and we can chat.

Good to see you too Coyote. I remember that there was probs with WZ crashing in Win XP. That was why I was asking. I still need to get an installer that I can burn to disk becouse when I get my computer it will not have internet or at least not more than a 14K hookup or slower. So I will have to download elsewhere and bring it in on disk. Unless I can download to a laptop with Y5 and then take it off the laptop.

Anyway I am living out in the middle of nowhere and will be lucky to get dileup. My son says that his laptop with dileup on a 56K only dose about 5K at best. ... Internet @ 5K ... Not worth the price.

But it is all going to take some time. I can only get online now when I come to town and I only do that when I have to. But it is still good to see that there are still some old schoolers out there.
