If i put it in the autoload folder, I can select the map (2.1.3 standard), but it crashes.

Same thing happens if I manually add the .lev and the .gam files + the folder, in the appropriate places.

Maps don't go in autoload or global; they go in My Documents/Warzone 2100 2.1/maps/

Autoload is for mods, not maps.

Sheesh, this is like the second question on the FAQ, people.

.

- I'm glad you provided the .LND because I can read your map a lot quicker and more efficiently for critical details in 32EW than
in game.

- You've made your topography more varied than the first iteration and I think more interesting as a result. Your cliff-face tiling, especially, needs tweaking but sounds like you already know that. Some of the tweaking will directly impact optimizing pathfinding, some is simply cosmetic.

- Your base platforms are not equal. Southern base has an expansion advantage over the Northern Base. This is something you can avoid by using the mirror technique of cutting and pasting the first base topography you build.

- Your SW Mountain has ground access and your NE does not - looks like an oversight to me because of the tile placements... You have bodies of water only on the West... none on the East... As a consequence T1 games will favor Eastern movements. Is that what you want ?

- Seems like your hesitant to place oil resources around the map outside the base platforms - oil up for grabs. You can easily scatter another 20 around the map making sure their placement locations are fair to both players.

- One thing you can maybe say is just how you would like this map to play out .... For example - do you want it to have balance between those who like to Turtle and those who like to Rush.... ? Do you want to give opportunity for Octopus and Eagle styles of playing ?

- In other words - how you shape your map, including resource quantities and location, can very much influence styles of play.

- It is a good improvement over your first iteration. Stick to it & be patient to allow for its gradual development...

Regards, whipper

Zarel - autoload is where Luis told me to put the file (communicating via mibbit)

I put it where you said, and it still crashes.
Just like it did when I put the files in the same location I did for squared (which does work).

I'm not reinstalling 2.1.2 to try out a map
