How to make repairs?
This is probably a really stupid question, but how do I get my trucks to repair my other units. They aren't doing it automatically, and I click on a truck and then left click on a unit needing repair and nothing happens. The tutorial didn't tell me how. Can someone tell me what I am missing?

You have to use a Mobile Repair Turret to repair units. Trucks can only repair structures.tenspd137 wrote:This is probably a really stupid question, but how do I get my trucks to repair my other units. If you are playing the campaign, I believe the Repair Turret shows itself in Alpha-3.

No, you get the artifact that enables repair turrets from the last base of the fist mission (alpha 1), at the very last scavenger base.
I recommend setting your units to hold fire as you approach the last base, and fire at long range (to avoid flamer towers), so your units don't destroy the base before you pick up the artifact.
take out the 2 gun towers, the 2 flamer towers, and then the scavenger factory (that looks like an auto garage)- the scav factory leaves an artifact that enables engineering research, which directly leads to repair turret research.
The base should still have a scavenger power generator - which means the base isn't destroyed, thus you have all the time you want to research the repair turret, build new units, repair your old ones, etc.
In multiplayer, its just Engineering research -> repair turret research, (and with some other research, repair facility structures).
Or you can recycle a heavily damaged unit, get half the cost back, and make a new unit (with the same experience as the old one) - thus this form of "repair" costs half the unit price, and ties up a factory.
