Well, I am a little bit confused. Here I was playing Warzone 2100 quite happily, then i read that the videos as well as the music had been released. So, I dig around, find the latest nightly with video support and sure enough it works fine. Hoowever, I downloaded the version with new terrain textures (thought i'd give them a try) and well, the following ensues. I downloaded warzone2100_terrain-r6406-debug.exe and I am running this on an ATi X1300
I read that r6406 was supposed to eliminate the flickering. Is it my card? My settings? Bad version?
We don't have nightly builds any more. 6406 is very old; newer versions may fix your bug. I haven't managed to build Warzone installers, unfortunately, so no luck. :/
The latest I can find is 2.1, which has neither videos nor new terrain textures, so is somewhat a retrograde step from what I am trying to get. I downloaded the videos, and I would really like to see them and new textures ingame (videos are more important to me though). Is there a released binary of a recent build that has video support and textures (or even just the videos?)

Nope. 2.2 Beta 1 is coming out tomorrow, though, and it should have video support.
I managed to find something to suffice in the interim however, r6781 is fairly modern, the new terrain textures and videos work, although it does have a few weird bugs (changing propulsion on a design crashes the game, and using the designer then going back to the battlefield turns all the units and terrain inside out (like the planes of the 3d model are reversed, difficult to describe). Still if the new ones out tomorrow
