black screen

Hi,

While I am playing the game, the screen goes black every so often. I can still see blue blobs for the menus so I blunder around for the save and quit to main menu buttons and get to the main menu, which is fine and allows me to get back into the game which goes black about 15 minutes later again and I repeat the process.

I have a laptop with an intel gma 3100 and resolution 1280x800.

Can anyone help?

I've found the problem. KDE desktop effects were interfering.
