Ability to repair/help build teammate structures

The title says it all. Would this be possible in any upcoming releases? It'd really help out a lot because we usually end up expanding into the same area at one point or another, and it's quite annoying when one of their buildings is under attack but I can't help repair it. As for building, the same thing applies...we could get defenses up much faster if we concentrated our efforts.

I'd love it if the option to give away buildings to allies (as you already can do with units) was implemented, so if your ally is losing factories you can give him one of yours.

I do have a patch for this...someplace.

Actually, I started a CO-OP thread on this. I just don't got the time to finish it, the way people wanted.

Check out that thread/poll to see how most people wanted it.

How could they want it any other way than being able to repair your ally's structures?
