I just found out that hamachi works rather nicely, and was wondering if anyone else that has it would like the idea of a thread where one can post for matches at certain times or days... and matchtypes, so on and so forth...
so yeah think it might work?
EDIT: maybe a section of the forum dedicated to it? and it doesn't have to be just hamachi... maybe separate subforums for other clients...

Re: Multiplayer Forum?
I like the idea Mach10chocobo! i regularly play online using hamachi, xfire etc! so i would find it useful to organise times and dates for matches!

We had two stickies for this. However, I "un-stickied" them because there was no posts anymore over a month.

Re: Multiplayer Forum?
Well is it doable kamaze? I am not saying "DO IT NOW!"
although it would be rather nice to have a way to organize matches and times...
and if ya need someone to moniter the forum, I could do it, but I gotta put school first, ya know?
maybe in this format...
Player name:
Date:
Time:
Amount of players:
Map/s:
Tech level:
Teams:
something like that... and as I said possibly separate subforums for clients other than hamachi so some other things may have to be added to that list... like xfire tag, etc.

Re: Multiplayer Forum?
well, if we were using a different cms ( i wont use the name - kamaze knows which one.) there is a module that plugs in that will do all of that and keep track of a whole bunch more... perhaps one of the other cms or whatever has something such as this? i know when i first started looking for site setups and modules i believe i went through all of those that were available ... which took me quite a while... i did find some excellent add ons for a lot of different site setups... so maybe when kamaze has a few moments... have a look through and see whats available.
