Mapping Troubles

Post by Jimmbob »

Ive been working on a map on and off for a few weeks, and i have just been adding the final touches, Features and the odd texture here and there, only to find out the features don't work! xD is there anything i can do, or should i just delete the features and not bother with them.
Suggestions welcome and any extra info you require just ask,

Used the updated Edit World for 2.1, as far as i can tell using the tutorials, my directories are correct, also used the updated data sets that MetalBeast created.
Using 2.1 Rc1 as the test to see if the map worked texture size at 128 and resolution at 800x600 windowed

Thanks
Jimmbob

.

map features are tertile set specific. for example: urban features are only compatible with the urban tile set. and if
you use them with the Rocky Mountain tile set you'll get those ripped gfx models. always been this way. scale in wz is
quite fraked when it comes to feature models esp. with the Rocky Mountain tertile set you are using the compatible
feature models are: pine trees, log cabins and wharehouses.... think that's it.

i wonder if we could change it where we could use any models textures on any map. Sorta like the generals map editor all the features can be used.
