Can you create nice screenshots, showing off some nice graphics?
If yes, please do so!
What I'd like is to have some screens from the latest SVN version (new old missile trails) showing some explosions, shadows, smoke, fireworks and similar using Grim's texture sets. I've seen some nice images of older (1.x) versions with lot's of rockets flying and arty shells exploding.
Postprocessing is not necessarily needed.
What I've seen lately on the web doesn't represent our current look, so I'd like to have some update.
took this one as i went in for the kill on a lassat... about 4 hours into game on 8 player map - sandcastles2006 - i hate lassat's!! >:(

"to prepare for disaster is to invite it, to not prepare for disaster is a fools choice" -me (kim-lav_coyote25-metcalfe) - it used to be attributed to unknown - but adding the last bit , it now makes sense.
* Be happy to oblige - preferable without post-processing as that is too tempting to "fix".
* However.... It's most fun to do in Debug Mode (in-reg-game time it's not so fun at all) but I don't know how to get into Debug Mode with the GPL WZ.... if it's even possible ?

Run with --cheat, when on the map type SHIFT+BACKSPACE, then CTRL+O
* Sweet ! Thanks.
* Works beautiful... Inc some stuff I didn't expect that make taking spectacular screenies a cinch & mondo fun to boot.
* This is all terrific for play-testing maps/ais with nimble efficiency..
* I'll have some creme de la creme in a day or two (I shoot like a did as a photographer - alot... Then I sift through the mountain... Oh well, works for me.)
the black stuff, I think, is the artifact leftover from destroyed enemy factories
wait a minute... just had another look... what the hell? I can assure you it was not in the game
EDIT:
I figured out what it is. When I press the Print Screen button on my keyboard, KDE launches the KSnapShot app, and as always when launching stuff in KDE, a little bouncing icon appears next to the mouse pointer - when this icon bounces up and down, it leaves a little black spot in its wake. >_<

* Kwel, tanks. I'll check it out & try to incorcorate.
* I'll post a couple on a stock Pumpkin Map tomorrow but I mainly want to do some on my current map project, "Turtle Rush", which will have to wait till it's further along - like by this coming weekend.

* Btw Karma (or anyone shooting screens)... if your interested in getting very clear & detailed, ingame, explosive flying debris-artifacts in your screens (they actually look like pieces of identifiable units & structs scatering in all diff directions... works for firing GFX too, like missles, etc.) there is a way to do it, it's actually a cinema technique that is supported in D-Mode.... but maybe you all know how to do it already.

Did you forget to tell us what this technique is or how it works?
