UKM for 2.1 BETA 4 in development.

This topic is dedicated to show the progress of the UKM (Ultimate Killer Mod) for the 2.1 BETA 4 version.

Coments, suggestions, and tips are welcome here.

I will post it's progress and features.

Progress PART I:

Added New Defensive Structures:

Nuke Launcher*: Mass Destruction Weapon to outmatch the LasSat, it doesn't replace it, but causes more damage.

Damage: 6000
Radius Damage: 6000
Blast Radius: 1280
Reloading Time: 9000 (15 Minutes)

Requisites: Research the LasSat.

*It still carry the LasSat bug (Destroy buildings but vehicles are in one piece)

Gravity Well Fortress: Okay, maybe you have heard the name "Gravity Well" in the game "Quake II Mission Pack: Ground Zero", but sounds differents than you think, it's a hugely powerfull AA Fortress, launch a salvo of 3 shots and kill any VTOL in one shot, but reloading time is bad, even with Thermopole Energizer Mk3 Researched.

Twin Heavy Cannon added, doesn't replace the HPV Cannon. Research HVAPFSDS Cannon Shells Mk1 and Heavy Cannon

Super Twin Heavy Cannon: Another weapon added without replacing any weapon. Research HVAPFSDS Cannon Shells Mk3 and Twin Heavy Cannon.

NEXUS Plasma Cannon and it emplacement added to be researched. Pre-requisite: Plasma Laser and Plasmite Flamer.

Tomahawk Missile Artillery added, but this time, it replaces the Angel Missile, i've added too the Mass Driver Cannon, replaces Gauss Cannon.

Added VTOL templates:

VTOL Truck
VTOL Spotter
VTOL CB Spotter
VTOL Repair Unit

cool nuke. See if you can make it look more like a real nuke or add some kind of mushroom effect

I will try to find someone how can make a large mushroom in the PIE Slicer, because i'm don't know how i operate this program :D

Progress PART II:

Like in the 1.12 Patch, Hellstorm, Ripple Rocket and Ground Shaker have been limited to defensive use only, the other artillery types can be used for mobile artillery (i will think about the Archangel Missile).

Jump Cyborgs Added, this time you will have a great variety of them, but it research costs more for now.

Now you will have the original "Assault Gun Bunker" from the campaign, it can shoot VTOLs!

Also, i have added new research strings to the new researches.

Next steps:

Add the Special European bodies to the UKM, i will see with Mertens if he permit me to use their bodies to the UKM

Remove the Wide Spectrum Sensor from the Vehicles.

Increase a little bit the structures output (research facility, factory and generator)

By the time being, i'm can't finish the rest, because i still have class until 27/11/08, and study and make the camo textures at same time is very complicated, it let me confused on my studies, when i have lot of time, i'll finish the UKM and the "camos" too.

btw, the textures are mine^^.
and Special African Bodys are completely made by delphi.
well, mertens made the body pies for ntw mod, and ntw mod is gpl2.

I got a problem with the develop of the mod (firts bug):

Every time when i research the Hardened Sensor Tower, the Demolish Structure iccon disappears when i research it, i will try to fix it if possible.

If someone have a fix to this, please, post it here.

EDIT: This happens after i've added the Twin Mass Driver Cannon, made by elio.

Thanks, fixed.

Another problem that now i have :gonk: :

Lancer Bug :stressed:

It doesn't appear after i have already researched it, even if i play T2 or T3 :scream:

weapons.txt 2nd last number is a 1?

Considering you've taken the most powerful and unbalanced weapons and made them even more powerful and unbalanced, I have a feeling this game is going to be kind of... unbalanced. :P

Could you make some better missile weapons, too? That might even it out.
