Cheat mode dummy!!!

I've been playin Warzone since PS1 and love it but as a begginer to the pc version and a novice PC user I can't access the cheats.
Can anyone give me a quick walkthrough of the command line proccess and the neccesary steps to get them workin.
I'm dyin on my ass at the "Enemy escaping" level of Arizona.

You miss my point, I already read the manual but it's all greek to me.
How EXACTLY do I get the cheats command in the system given the fact that I don't know anything about programming and could just as easily screw it up.

Right-click on a shortcut to Warzone, go to Properties.

Find a tab that contains a textbox saying "Target" or something like that, and add --cheat to the end. So you're basically changing it from something like

"C:\Program Files\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe"
to
"C:\Program Files\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe" --cheat

Click OK.

Double-click that shortcut, follow the general directions (open a game, press Shift+Backspace, press Enter, type cheat code, press Enter).

(This is all from memory, since I'm on my Mac right now, so I'm not sure if it's called "Target")

It's nice when people take the time to help out the new guy.

Doing a 2 year course in computers so maybe I'll be adding my own mods to the game soon.
