In-Game Music: Sequrity

Post by EVIL386 »

Hey guys this is my first ever track that i've made for the public.
I am quite the amateur when it comes to ambient/moody music since my type is a little more upbeat and IYF lol

Constructive criticism will be taken on board but please don't flame the noob. :gonk: xD

It is 140BPM, uses samples taken from the warzone.wz and is made in EJay2+. Hardly the professional tool i know but it was £9.99 xD

If you can recommened some good programs i'd be more than happy to take a look but i'm kinda broke so Free ones / small cost
will be helpful.

Nice track, but as you said, maybe a bit too upbeat to fit the Warzone setting.

It's WIP :)

It is more red alert music but it's not bad, better than I could do. It lacks depth and is too fast most of the energy is located in the upper frequencies. Have you listened to the original warzone music? that is just ambient sounds and no strong beat. Also having Wz sounds in the music could cause player confusion :P

Actually, I think it could work just fine if you just lowered the volume on the hihats and samples, some of the samples might be distracting when you're playing, but other than that, I think this is really a good song.

OK, well i've read the suggestions and edited accordingly.

I've removed a lot of the samples leaving only 2, and I've removed the high hats and claps alltogether,
and now it has a nice new low bass track instead.

See if you like Sequrity Mark 2! xD
