I just dont get it... with this projekt and that stuff.
Around here are some Programmers and Game Devs, is that correct?
I think that there are also some modellers ,too.
However, u still work on this "classic" game without any outstanding
reaches? (((or mb i just miss a chanellog)))
U r "gods" free to change every detail in this world, i talk about the programmers.
Cant u change for example the terrain , from the spiky look to a more smoth one?
Or would u be able to make like different colonies, the green ones the yellow ones etc.
And give them special tech trees or whatever??
i guess u can, but i cant figure out why u dont do.
U have the Source Code, improve it!
Replace the old lowPoly models with a little, more complex ones, or introduce absolutly
new ones. I dont know, it seams all like u just increase the connections, like lan or internet etc.
but dont do no big chances to the game itself.
additionaly said, i loved to play WZ but there is a need of somthing new,
if im wrong and u did lots of changes, open my blind eyes, let me see what
u made wz to.
greets
the wondering Equal

Look, we work on this in our spare time, when we feel like it. If you see something that needs to be done, feel free to help out.

Re: Hey, Question...
actually a lot of work has been done - most of which is not "viewable" - a lot of the gnarly code has been turfed and has been made to run on different operating systems. all of this has taken time and there is a basic roadmap the coders are sticking to. that is located in the wiki. also if you have any skills in the programing of graphic engines etc... by all means join in the fun ( read the entire forums to get the full meaning of "fun").
and welcome.

Re: Hey, Question...
That 'gnarly code' sure doesn't like to be poked at too much ... almost as bad as a two year old throwing a tantrum.lav_coyote25 wrote:actually a lot of work has been done - most of which is not "viewable" - a lot of the gnarly code has been turfed and has been made to run on different operating systems. all of this has taken time and there is a basic roadmap the coders are sticking to. that is located in the wiki. also if you have any skills in the programing of graphic engines etc... by all means join in the fun ( read the entire forums to get the full meaning of "fun").
