How to use and install map editor

Hi I am new here I installed the map editor to my computer and I made a map and saved it in the new maps thingy but it was in the map editor folder so when I looked in the war zone folder I did not see any map folder pls help me

Which map editor did you install?
What is "your computer" (operating system)?
With which version of Warzone 2100 do you want to play the map?
What is the "new maps thingy"?
In which Warzone-folder did you look?

omg - you mean to say i spent over 6 years for nothing - working on documents project.

there is a tutorial that will explain every aspect ( or close enuff that you can keep going).

look under the map tutorials heading. - it includes both the old 16 bit and the new 32 bit tutorials.

I looked in the war zone just like the manual said but there was no new map folder.

I read the manual and saw were to save it but the game does not even have the test map does it have something to do
with the dll files that have to go in the system 32 dll cache

you have to put in the map folder your self.


and no - dll files should have no bearing on that.

in the editor folder - look in the root folder - your map or the test map LND may be there... i think i covered that in the tutorial...will have to have another look.

I put the new maps folder there but Idid not see any thing so I put it back.

Never mind I used a win rar program and did something so now I can use it but I have another problem all of the sudden even when enable 2 players it will say erro validateing missing players whats wrong.

Ps the problem is with the map editor thank you.
