Hi, i'm trying to add a new research, i know very well how i did to did, there's the research topics in the followig txt files
Research:
R-Wpn-PlasmaHeavy,
Level Three,0,0,IMAGE_RES_WEAPONTECH,0,0,RES_W_PLASCAN,0,PlasmaHeavy,
WEAPON,30000,1,1,0,0,0,0,0,1

But every time when i play in any map, it gives me a goddamn crash in the Warzone, please someone help to solve this, tell me how i did to add a new research and what i'm doing wrong.

Post the weapons.txt entry.
e.g starts with Wpn-PlasmaHeavy (... now lots of figures such as range, damage cost.)
What is a Plasma Launcher? A structure or a weapon. I assume its a weapon.
Is the number at the end of the preresearch string unique to it. It should be, if not that can cause it to crash.
Is there such a res as RES_W_PLASCAN, you may need to create it or use another one that already exists. Most of my bodies were built on the viper so had the viper res. Find names.txt its in the same place under resstrings.txt. (Unlikely to be wrong, a guess though)
Is'nt names thingy mean't to look like this (very common error of mine to miss this completely)

Adding new techs to the tech tree is the hardest thing you can do with stats, and the most annoying when it comes to debugging it. Once you've done it once, you probably get it wrong again the next time
