hmmm... Places to submit, discuss and evaluate existing Warzone source code, and any proposed patches already exist, namely the patch tracker at gna!and the mailing lists
Also on the point of needing a forum about coding. you have the "Mapping / Modding" forum for scripting and data related projects and anything else (ie source code) could go nicely under "General Development"
And just as you brought up haveing and putting thread in there correct place, did you really think that the "2.1 beta-feedback" forum was the correct place to post this?

That's a pretty broad topic... What exactly do you want to talk about?

I dunno, it would be kinda nice to have a specific forum section dedicated to the inner workings of warzone, where people can toss around ideas and such. Mind you, 99.95% of the people that frequent these forums wouldn't use it though.
The ML I don't really care for, IRC is OK, but time zones suck, in a existing forum section? Perhaps.

and it ends here.

* Yep. I'm no coder but we did one last at @rts.net and it was fun and I learned a bunch from the coders who contributed. There was even a little tricky one that was artfully obfuscated C that Chojun was the first to figure out.
