Hi folks, AWESOME game!

I've just made a massive bungle, have saved at a critical point and cant go back having made a crucial mistake, I have decided to use a cheat for the first time but cant get them to work, any advice?

You have to run the application with the --cheat command, so create a shortcut to warzone2100.exe and put that command after the link in Properties or either run warzone 2100 with that command with Start-run. After you do this, you have to press maiusc+backspace while in game, and type in a cheat. See the wiki page for cheats for availible cheats.

Just be warned. The cheats come with absolutely NO warranty, they have been known to cause all sorts of problems.

Side effects may include, but are not limited in anyway to : crashing the game, causing the game to crash on later missions, making later missions unwinnable, causing tanks to rotate upwards, causing savegame corruption, making units cost ridiculous amounts of power to produce, and other phenomenon.

Well, these also never happened with me, i think, but keep it real: only use the cheats (if you want) when you have already finished off all the campaings, use it only for fun

Thanks guys, esp. for the warning!

I would like to avoid using them in that case, can anyone suggest some help? 

I'm stuck on a mission where I have to blow up an enemy transport before it takes off, only problem is, whenever I get close enough he legs it!  I myself have been transported in, I can't build any further units because i've reached my unit limit, don't seem to be able to blow any existing ones up, and am pretty much snookered.......
