After spending a whole day trying, unsuccessfully, to install WZ2100 following the guidelines of this website, googling around I have found this snapd app, available also on the software manager of my Linux Mint 19.2 (mate). In five minutes with one (one !) simple command :
sudo snap install warzone2100
I have now a functioning 3.3.0 WZ2100 game.
Anybody else ?
Linux: installing WZ2100 with snapd: one command and 5 minutes!

Rather than have users compile manually, it would be better to have a working OOTB rpm/deb package. Should also include videos as well by that single install you did via: sudo apt install snapd
sudo snap install warzone2100
sudo snap install warzone2100
