Re: Beta 2 version feedback
Hehe, disapearing "destroy button" seems to be fixed, but now the limiter doesn't work anymore.
Can anybody post a bugreport?
I can't register there.
Thx, MB

Re: Beta 2 version feedback
Seems this version is unstable
I played today skirmish about one hour,
than the game is crashed to desktop without visible reason.
Dump-file attached.
EDIT:
The "stutter"-problem, which I described in "AIvolution"-Thread apears now also in normal mode.
It seems, there is something new in the code, what causes this effect.
Anybody else has this problem?
EDIT2:
After 3 hours of play I had to stop the game, cause the "Stutter" got really unacceptable.
The game changed to slide-show. Playing imposible.

Re: Beta 2 version feedback
If you log errors in Warzone try disabling all logging, sometimes slow HDs can cause slowdowns, I had this problem with my laptop.

I'm not using any commandline options, except resolution-change.Troman wrote: If you log errors in Warzone try disabling all logging, sometimes slow HDs can cause slowdowns, I had this problem with my laptop.
This problem exist since 2.1 beta1 first.
In Beta1 this was only in AIvolution mode, in Beta2 it comes also in normal mode.
The longer you play, the worse it will be.
No such problems with last stable release.
So it is definitively a problem of the new code.

OK, how about don't play with the Aivolution mod, and see if it is better or not.MetalBeast wrote: I'm not using any commandline options, except resolution-change.

Re: Beta 2 version feedback
I know my english ist crap, but
I already wrote, with Beta2 this problem apears also in normal mode.
I'm always testing in normal modes first.
Screen resolution and shadows don't matter, so it is not graphics related.

Not crap, I just didn't understand that 'normal mode' meant that you used the stock AI, and not the mod.MetalBeast wrote: I know my english ist crap, but

Do you have huge log files? (stdout.txt & stderr.txt)
Did you uninstall the 2.0, and then install the 2.1?psychopompos wrote: getting crash to windows in new version on front page.

You should have gotten some info in your stdout.txt or stderr.txt in the directory where the warzone2100.exe is.
and it ends here.
