Have the Pumpkin guys ever did such a thing for their baby? That would be most helpful to see where they were coming from, both the design, and explain a bit on how the source code got those nice comments from the PSX coders vs the PC coders.

And all the other stuff that goes into making a PC game into a PC & PSX game, and what sacrifices had to be made. Seems pretty clear that the PSX stuff was pretty much a after thought, or perhaps a major push from the publisher?
