Truth or "Free Lunch"

Truth or "Free Lunch": A Cyber Parable....

* Mr X: "Free Lunch", of course....  that's just the way it is, take it of leave it.. ;)

* Sir Y: But what 'bout that biblical adage - "The Truth will set you free." ?

* Mr X: Oh hell no, bull chit.... it ain't 'bout freedom... it's 'bout getting FREE chit... screw the truth.

* Sir Y: But isn't that like communism?

* Mr X: Oh no... we go for the dough on the backend - service contracts.  Pure capitalism bud.

* Sir Y: Well isn't that like a conflict of interest if YOU'RE making the "free" stuff ? It's really more like there ain't no such thing as "free lunch" - somebody pays, somewhere along the line..

* Mr X: Uhh... why don't you just shut your pie-hole. Your like, totally annoying !

* Sir Y: Guess Pontius Pilate is your boy - "What is truth ?" was how he left it just prior to the cruxifiction.

* Mr X: See, now your gettin the hang of it.. Just follow the party line. It's all good. Free chit all 'round. Plus we got the comeback strat - sheer numbers of True Belivers in "Freebies"... Mana from heaven - it's irresistable to the masses of poor folk.

* Sir Y: I see. Birds of a feather flock together when it comes to gimme-gimme, I'm entitled.

* Mr X: There ya go !

* Sir Y: From each according to his ability to each according to their needs. Hmmm, right. Sounds like a "winner". Cya.

* Thanks Dev. :)

* I honestly wasn't sure what I was trying to say. It came to me & I wrote it impulsively.

* That happens frequently. I trust the muse to teach me after I've played it out. I often write just to learn what the heck is going on in my brain & stiring my heart. Afterwards, when I look back over it, I'm suprised & wonder how could that have been in there & I not know about it till the act of writeing. Can't say I ever suffer boredom. ;)
