Re: Can't load savegames [Linux] v 2.1.0
Can you be a bit more specific?
Have you tried running the game under gdb, then when it crashes out, do a bt full, and post a bug report about it?
I didn't think there was a 2.1 yet released?
try --nosound to see if you can then load save games.
You have 32 or 64bit distro, and which one?
Sounds like you have a ATI or intel gfx card?

and it ends here.

Ugh, I really wish they would not do that. Providing old SVN revisions is a real pain -- as we are currently at r3185 or there abouts.
I know a lot of the older SVN revisions had a lot of problems. You can try deleting ~/.warzone2100 if you have ever had 2.0.x installed (they have incompatible data). Otherwise your best bet is to go back to [red]2.0.9[/red] or compile off a newer SVN revision.

Actually that'd be fine, as long as they would make sure to keep the package up to date. The problem currently is though that the package maintainer is waiting for the QuesoGLC package to get into Debian. Which currently is being packaged by Bradley Smith ( http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=443055 ).EvilGuru wrote: Ugh, I really wish they would not do that.
