Game stuttering even at decent fps

This is themac writing. Today I play Warzone on my new Apple iMac. This is the one with the biggest graphics card so far, the AMD Radeon R9 M295X. I play Warzone with the combined ultra scavanger and contingency mod and with the enhanced graphics mode ARmod_beta1.

Everything looks and works well except for the game stuttering when scrolling over the map. When I turn on the vsync option I get 55 fps instead of 60. When I turn it off I get between 100 and 250 fps but the game is still very choppy when scrolling over the map. What is going wrong here?

Oh, I always thought it was my old Mac that was too slow to run it smooth.
