Checked http://get.webgl.org/ to see if Firefox is one such browser. it is but it wasn't working
Using Linux Mint with Firefox 33 - ignored the fact i'm on linux and went with firefox settings
The following are technical directions and should be used with caution.

Spoiler:

I went to about:config in a new tab
Searched for webgl
Set "webgl.force-enabled;true" to "true" (double click is the way to toggle it)

Checked: get.webgl.org and viola it was working
