Multiplayer Sound Issue

Hello, me and my friend recently tried to play a 1v1 game through Hamachi (couldn't get IP to work)
Although everything was smooth for the host computer, the client computer, not matter which one of us hosted, had volume issues.

Whoever was the client and not the host, could not lower the volume, even though when we swapped hosting, the issue disappeared on one computer, and appeared on the other.

Is this related to the game, or is it on the computer side?

What version are you playing?

This is the first time I heard of this.

Also list what OS & hardware you got.

What was the reason you couldn't get it to work via IP? Do you have routers/firewalls blocking port 9999?

I am playing the latest windows version, as is my friend.

My Specs:
XP Pro
ASRock M1695 939Dual-SATA2
Opteron 165
1.5 GB 400mhz ram
300 GB 7200 RPM Seagate harddrive
7950 GX2 Nvidia Graphics card.

Didnt check his firewall, he might be blocking it. will try with Direct IP instead of VPN as soon as i tell him to unblock it.

Which latest windows version? There are quite a few.

You got the original WZ, you got 2.08rc, you got trunk release (you compile yourself)...
