Hey, I have two computers...
One is WindowsXP and the Other is Windows Vista,
Now I have 1110 patch on both, but the one on windowsxp has an IPX option but mine doesnt!!
Anyways besides that I goto create internet game on WindowsXP and on the Vista I type in 192.168.0.2 as the IP address for that computer, bingo I see the game!! but when I join it (using my router) it freezes for 10 seconds and goes into the game (but the other player isnt there and it cant be seen on the server either!!)
I connected the two computers using an ethernet computer and still the same, where I join in and we can't see each other, however it doesnt freeze for like 10 seconds, its straight in...
I have all firewalls of (even on the router I have it of, and I even opened port 9999 TCP as on the FAQ) I'm really stuck guys with this and I don't understand why its doing this?
Any help or experience would be appreciative!!:D

You can't play the original version of the game like that. IPX is basically dead. That is why vista don't got it.
The FAQ on this site is to the *updated* open source game, NOT the original one. That one used directplay, and different protocols & ports.
I suggest you download or compile the game from this site, and try again.
