does this look familiar?

‎"to prepare for disaster is to invite it, to not prepare for disaster is a fools choice" -me (kim-lav_coyote25-metcalfe) - it used to be attributed to unknown - but adding the last bit , it now makes sense.

* Sure does.... amazing. :)

* Ever since I was a kid & saw Vincent Price play the lead role in the movie version of Jules Verne's "Master of the World", I've loved those durn things...

* @ the 'ol XTREME bbs we seriouly looked at giving Scavs that tech (I've followed thru in my WZ novel)..

* My favorite book dealing with those babies is John McPhee's "The Deltoid Pumpkin Seed" (published long before Pumpkin Studios came intp existence but an interesting connection...)

* As to the "Skunk Works" - I've long admired their Project Modus Operandi - actually, NEWST was modeled on their way of collaboration.

* Kwel stuff...... The "Armor Transport" could stand a make-over along these lines - beautifully aerodynamic, IMHO, compared to the more "blimpy-squat" original .
