WZ was working fine for me for a long time and then all of a sudden it just stopped connecting for multiplayer. I thought it was my something with port forwarding at first but then realized that I couldn't even join a game either... so it was likely not port forwarding because you should be able to join games even if this isn't working...
In the end I gave up and just played single player for a few months, then today I had another bash at it... I tried wiping my saved data to reset things and had a breakthrough - the game defaulted back to windowed mode, which then showed me that my mac was not remembering to accept the incoming connection even though it was enabled to do as such in the mac firewall settings (dialog would not show in fullscreen mode).
It turns out that something happened with the code-signage of the installation and this was triggering the continual prompt to accept incoming connections - now with mac and fullscreen mode, the dialog does not show so I could only tell this was happening when in windowed mode...
Solution: just wipe the wz2100 app from your applications folder and reinstall (apparently this fixes the signage), your settings/save data are stored elsewhere and will not be lost.
Hopefully this can help others if they encounter the same situation.
