Where are the source files?

I was wondering how I could possibly gets started looking at the c/c++ files that compromise the game. I found exe's, text files, fonts, css files, and a whole host of other files, but strangely enough, no c/c++ files. I downloaded the game from Sourceforge, and the text files mention the source, but I don't know exactly where said files are.
