dont have a main menu

Hi,

I just installed Warzone on my XP SP2 Notebook, I can start the application and it works, but I dont see a menu. I tried different resolutions and options (fullscreen, shadow, ...)
Any ideas?

The latest warzone? 2.0.8_rc1?
Does it crach and/or create a crashdump?

And what GPU is build into your laptop?

I use latest download 2.0.8_rc1, it does not crash, i even can click and get sound feedback but I dont see the menu. GPU is a mobility radeon 9000. I already played the original version of warzone years ago on this notebook.

Please download quesoGLC (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... p_id=53918)
Then copy all dlls, and copy the whole 'etc' folder into warzone's folder, and it will then work.

2.0.8 uses texture based font rendering as opposed to True True rendering (provided by QuesoGLC).

Whoops!  Your right.  I forgot about the different versions.  Though it does have the same issue.  Must be something else.

Check for errors in stderr & stdout.

stderr is included, but can't see a problem

Very same problem here. I am running it on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

I even can make it into the game, which looks like this (attached picture).
