Imagine a river delta bombed with atomic bombs, and occupied by strategic spot surrounded by trenches..
I suggest you to play against 5 allied AI to understand why I call this "trench war"
You begin with 8 oil points, there are 4 areas of 1 oil point, 2 areas of 2 oil point and 1 area of 4 oil points.
The map is structured with trenches, no like the WW1, I try this but it's not good for AI..

The same map, TrenchWar Map, but just before the atomic bombing ! With scavs, and grass, trees and water, a natural wonder : It's the TrenchWarBB map, BB like "Before Bombing"
Yes, the maximum height difference is needlessly small, maybe it would be possoble to include a height scale parameter in the next map format (default would be 1 so that all the old maps would stay unchanged) or maybe one could use .exr as the heightmap format, since it can use 16 bit float. Pretty nice map still.
