Moderators can add comment when reject addon.
There is no way to initiate dialog with moderator now. I will think about this case.

The best way to avoid this is to always create a thread to discuss the map, and beta test it before uploading to Addons.

I don`t sure that all moderators will watch all threads to check if someone ask question.

We don't want to start a discussion on the addons section, that is what the forums are for.

If you have a problem with the rejection, you are supposed to do as requested.

Don't argue with the moderator, if you have a issue that can't be solved, then go back to your thread that you started in ​Addon discussions and politely engage in conversation there.

If that don't work, PM the staff account.
