Is that Tinky Winky on NEXUS's face?!

Post by aubergine »

Shocking, but possibly true - I think I've discovered a Telletubby, specifically Tinky Winky, on NEXUS' face -- click image for full size:

Telletubbies TV series was first launched in 1997, around the time when Pumpkin Studios were starting development of Warzone, so the timeframe fits.

Teletubbies and evil biblical numbers. Odd combination. I can understand the number. Nexus was the epitome of evil in the storyline. Apparently he is also a fan of the Teletubbies.
Also known as Subsentient.

Agree with above. They were evil and needed to be destroyed. My kids were frightened of them when they first showed up on television. A two-year-old and a four-year-old, frightened by something that was supposed to be for kids?!

Yeah. Kill it with fire. :lol2:

Indeed. Likely the is some back story that links Dr. Reed to the creation of the teletubies.

.

The history of teletubbies is very interesting, esp. Tinky Winky.

Controversy surrounded them from the get go in 1997. And Tinky Winky was central.

At that time, 1997 (remember that date) it was suggested that Tinky Winky covertly symbolized Gay Pride. That claim, as well other controversies suggested here, were not completely discredited until 10 years later in 2007. Interesting. Teletubbies still have a cult following with University and College students partly because of a percieved association of their overall aesthetic with psychedelics.
