Put any non-service commands like the lobby server in /etc/rc.local, /etc/system-scripts/postboot.sh, or whatever the distro this thing has uses, then reboot it. That's about all I think that's certain to whack all the slowness. I end up shutting down MySQL, disabling and re-enabling swap, and then restarting MySQL on mine most the time when it gets how yours is now, because MySQL forks and forks and forks and forks and forks and needs some discipline but didn't get it, so it eats all my RAM. My squid server, with even lower specs, does something similar. I don't know what you are running this site on.
