I upgrade My Fedora 7 these days by yum.
After the upgrade I run warzone 2100,it become so slow even the menu.
So I remove warzone and reinstall it by autopackage.
This time the warzone can start and the menu is normal.
But when I load the saved games ,it stop while loading. And I have to kill warzone.
If I choose to Start a new game of single player, the warzone can start the mission normally, but it stop after short time.
What should I do?
warzone can't run after I upgrade Linux

sounds like your dist upgrade broke your binary driver and made your renderer/opengl fell back to software mode, which makes wz run at very low speed.ygxy wrote: I upgrade My Fedora 7 these days by yum.

The save loading problem could be a save version incompatibility between different versions of warzone, havent used 2.0.x for a while, so I am not 100% sure whether saves between 2.0.x minor versions are 100% compatible or not.
The campaign crash is caused by the sound issue I guess, the game will freeze/crash as soon as your vehicle hits a baba ppl with mg in the first mission, the only work-a-round available there is to disable the sound for now and wait for the fix for the sound freeze to be made into next release.
tasks postponed until the trunk is relatively stable again.

watermelon is correct: if it runs at all, then you have compatible libs, but you're now running opengl in software mode. so recompile/reinstall the 3d drivers (and i assume they're proprietary, bc otherwise yum should've handled it gracefully).

I forget to tell you that warzone can't make out a sound since I upgrade Linux.
I try to enter the Options menu->Audio options and close all sound .Then try to load a game or start a new game, this time everything works normally.
So I think there is something wrong with sound.
