Game will not startup

Hello!

I just changed out my monitor and suddenly my Warzone 2100 will not open and run. The screen goes black, and flashes and then....nothing...

It is not freezing the machine, it is just not opening. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling yesterday - same effect. Tried changing my monitor resolution to 1024x768 and no change.

I checked my GeForce 8800 GT card and it is running the latest driver and that driver ran the game just fine with the previous monitor.

Monitor is an HP 2009m and has a native screen resolution of 1600x900.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No idea if it could help, but maybe try editing ~/.warzone2100-3.1/config (or wherever the file is located on windows), and change to width=1600 and height=900, in case it was trying to change resolution to something impossible, or something like that. Or even set fullscreen=false.

Thanks for the reply. What finally did it was to add "--resolution=1600x900" to the executable line.
