Wish granted and in the process of becoming self-actualized you find the scope of your abilities vast, your powers gargantuan. This situation creates a dilemma - "What shall I do first ?" You feel a tremendous responsibility to choose wisely, to create a priority list that honors these blessings of greatness to come. From there you determine that perhaps it would be conducive to making decisions of this magnitude if you go to one of those meditation mountain retreats to attain a state of detached perspective - and you do.
After a week at
Camp Blessed Peace you get a little restless one morning after group meditation and decide to take a hike in the beautiful woods that surround the the encampment along the shore line of a babbling brook. Some time passes, and you have found yourself lost in the sights, smells and sounds of nature that you have no sense of your own body anymore. Then, of sudden, you are awoken out your peaceful reverie by a roar that sends a quaking shiver down to your tailbone. Your eyes focus sharply and not more than five yards ahead is a Grizzly Bear rearing up on it's hind quarters. For a moment, you are stunned but then recover your calm demeanor and reach into a side pocket of your back pack for the can of pepper-spray that was given to you your first day of orientation.
"Oh, chit !", you say, in a whisper. It ain't there.
The grizzly drops down on all fours and starts charging towards you. He looks real hungry and determined to make a meal of you.
You think: "I am fully self-actualized - what shall I do now ?"
...............
I wish for 40 more healthy years of living.
