Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Jorzi, we need your help. To test new version of wmit we need the "clean" obj of factory without any mirrored stuff plus its anim data as it was done by you before importing to wmit, without any changes.

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
we need your clean obj of factory WITH smooth groups(at least 2) and tangent normal map for tests

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Finally got around to converting the factory to tangent space, saved a bunch of texture space as well
Tried the wmit build at https://github.com/Warzone2100/WMIT but when I activated custom shaders it crashed on my new work laptop

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
The new blender 2.8 has improved so radically that I have changed my workflow quite a bit. Since the new node based material system allows quick procedural texturing and mapping, I have started doing my textures directly on the hipoly, rather than masking in stuff in gimp. The baked result can still be edited in gimp later, bu this allows for more tweaking possibilities etc.

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
crashed with these shaders ? Latest WMIT is always on I-NoD's page that locates here . Currently it has two more commits in 0.6.10Jorzi wrote: 04 Jan 2020, 14:00Tried the wmit build at https://github.com/Warzone2100/WMIT but when I activated custom shaders it crashed on my new work laptop
We tested it on ubuntu + amd rx 560 and windows10 + nvidia gtx980/1080ti
P.S. Opened new factory, works for me but has some bugs with reversed polygons. hmm I could test it on my internal intel gpu..

https://github.com/Warzone2100/WMIT should now include everything from I-NoD's development branch, plus additional bug fixes. I've tested it on macOS / Linux.
@Jorzi: Can you provide any sort of crash log / backtrace?

I think I used the wrong shaders, although with these ones and the wmit version you suggested, it complains about syntax errors in the shaders

The new blender 2.81 automatically corrects the shading of these parts it seems, and backface culling is turned off by default, so I didn't catch them before exporting.
On the plus side it has new and better tools for vertex normal editing
@pastdue unfortunately I didn't find any logs

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
I'm currently on windows 10 with a quadro P2000 (should be roughly equivalent to a gtx 1050)
Reuploaded the objs, checked the normals and they should be fine now

Ah, quadro drivers... I think you should try different version scince there are some of them
Or force WMIT to work on internal intel gpu via nvidia control panel

Wait a minute *facepalm*
The files I downloaded were actually the html content of the download link, rather than its target, so my shaders aren't shaders at all, let me try again
