Scavengers
Hi,
when integrating Scavengers into the map, with factory aso, in the Game, the Scavengers do not build anything. No trucks, no cyborgs or whatever.
What I´m doing wrong. Need a little help.

You need to give them a scavenger factory (A0BaBaFactory or something like that).

yep understand. but factory and so on is existing, but nothing happens.

do you need to give scavs oil dericks and power stations to produse and also they dont have any units at start

This issue would have worked to do fashion mode, because I think it is just possible.
I once made such a trial fashion into version 2.3.9, but this is not the end of it what you mean.
In version 3.1 I have the same problem, scavengerzy not produce any units.

I've seen scavs create units in 3.1 - eg. on sk-startup map I went in to debug mode, placed a sat uplink so I could see everything, then killed a load of their units and they made more.
From what I can see they need these buildings:
* Oil derrick
* Scav power plant
* Scav factory (not a normal factory that players can build, it must be the scav factory)
And those buildings all need to be pre-placed on the map at design time, scavs won't build their own stuff.
It might be that in recent release the templates they use have disappeared and that might be stopping them making units.
Could you check on sk startup map (a 2 player map that comes with WZ) to see if they are able to build units? If not, then that indicates a bug and we can track it down and fix it. Go in to cheat mode (Shift+Backspace) and place yourself a sat uplink so you can see what they are up to, or choose player 3 (I think) from the Ctrl+O menu as that would probably have same effect.
Also, for anyone interested, the scavengers are controlled by this script: https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2 ... cavfact.js
EDIT: One other thing I think you also need to make sure they are operating as the correct player ID. So on 2 player maps I think they are player 3, on 4 player maps they are player 7 IIRC.

Sorry, i couldn't open up the map yet, cause i couldn't get back to the desktop, and FlaME doesn't open up on my netbook yet (gma500, if you know what i mean)
Yeah, and now i see that they actually require power to build things. Cause i might be remembering that in 2.3 they just made the units appear instead of producing them. Nice.controlled by this script
