I would have simply screenshot'ed and uploaded the example I'd wish to have had but seeing as I let my old domain expire, here's an example.
To put it bluntly; the rally point system in WZ works but (I think) it could use little dressing up. A few days ago, whilst doing battle against a 'medium-set' comp; I ended 'losing' most if all my rally points for my factories in the ensuing war that wasn't at all 'static.'
Would redoing / revamping / redressing the rally point part of WZ (whether it's a unit's or building's) could be a feasible implementation? Or is something like this in the works? Or as I fear; does WZ has a system to which I altogether have forgotten or not known about, seeing as I have tendency to post in 'waves' and thus miss out on the development of WZ?
In the 'new' system; by selecting a building (or unit, if that's your thing), the building would simply and momentarily ( or continuously) depicted the point to which it has been set.
You can right-click on a rally point to scroll the map to it's associated building.
You can right-click a building then click the circle/triangle/square icon to grab/move it's rally point.
Although on repair facilities I don't think they have a right-click pop-up.

I'd quite like a line drawn between building and rally point while the building is selected. Or maybe a commander-style blue dots beam between the two (but without the sound and smaller dots).
