Make walls stronger

Make walls stronger

My Suggestion Is this, walls are both, too easy to break, and too easy to build. My suggestion is to make walls more expensive. say x times, and also x times as durable. Possible value for x is 2, or 3.

Why not just do all the research for walls - up to plasteel mk3? That also strengthens all your base defences (towers, pits, emplacements, etc).

Is a mod multiplying every defense structure would make you happy ?

If i can give my opinion, I think the walls are ok for the classic map of warzone. If the choke point are not too big, then the wall we actually have is a fair deal of hp/cost/time.

In truckbowl, a mod I made however, the map is a flatland and it require price and capacity adjustement for the defensive structure for the turtling to remain possible.

No she asked for more expensive walls. Upgrade do not increase the price of opponents walls :P .

shows what you know :roll: base walls + upgrades DO cost more. :roll: factor in the research cost!

I'd like to see base upgrades combined with wall upgrades.

my suggestion: make enabled nexus and collective walls with higher parameters and prices

@effigy: I prefer base and walls upgrades being separate.

As for making walls harder to build (I assume taking longer to construct) that would make any turtling early game practically impossible because the opponent will too easily be able to MG rush and destroy your trucks while you wait for research / wall building, etc.

MG towers are usually what I do on T1 for starting if I'm under attack. It works fairly well even without walls, buff tank traps?
