Map TBL X1 without lazy or without Towers?

Hello,

i like playing the big map TBL X1 - The Battlelands X1 with and against ai. But most times I played, towers or aa sites are not possible to research or to build by me. I built command center and researched the actual prerequisites from the Guide tech tree. The first times I played it, long time after researching Scourge tower I were able to build it, but it very late.

Are they disabled, how long is the duration until be build-able or how can I build them?

Do you have a link to the map? I'll see if I have the same problem.

In order to get AA sites, the quickest way to test is to research machine guns until you get the twin machine gun, then the hurricane AA turret should become available. After you've researched that, you also need to research hurricane emplacement (will appear near the end of the list of researchable items) to actually get the building you want.

Are you able to get towers/AA sites on other maps?

This map doesn't have any mods packed into it, so there are no game rules changes when you play on this map. I think you're doing something wrong. You can provide a savegame so that we could see what exactly.

Sorry, the topic should have been named 'with lazy or without Towers'.

Which files do you need from a saveame, .es .game and subdirectory and with files or only some of them?
What is the easiest way to upload it here? Or which file hoster is free and without registration (2 or 4 MB)?

Thanks aubergine, I looked the list of researchable items from begining to end but my prefered def buildings are not listed there.
On other maps (Revolver, MeroHunt, many others) the sites, towers, emplacements ... appear normal and after researching I can build them.

On TBL X1 i can build only:
Machinegun Guard Tower
light cannon bunker and hardpoint
machine gun bunker and hardpoint
flamer bunker

My workaround is, to design units with the emplacements and build them: hurricane vehicle, archangel vehicle, ...

I got the problem: I always played at position 0, that base has a CommandCenterNE, but I need a Kommandozentrale (engl.: standard command center?). I build it and then hurican aa site was immediately researchable.

Hrm, that might actually be an issue with rules.js or something like that?

No, just Nexus command centers don't trigger tower research, because they aren't command centers. This sort of structure can't even be built in game, so nothing defines what it does. In fact, it (much like collective and np command centers) gives a minimap but doesn't allow researching towers. I think it's a map that needs fixing, but someone needs to update it in addons anyway (cause it's broken). On the other hand, command centers might be worth fixing. But they won't be fixed for 2.3, for sure.
